I am having some issues with my mail delivery. Earlier this year I asked my carrier to start delivering my mail to my front porch, inside the screen door, instead of through the garage door slot because I have become mobility impaired and using the basement stairs daily to retrieve my mail is becoming too painful and dangerous. I live alone. For a few weeks, this was done, but for the last month delivery has been back to the garage door slot. During that time, I have also gotten mail that is not mine, and some pieces of mail that are not postmarked, so I am assuming they were pick-ups that were not yet mailed. I have not received the supermarket fliers the past two weeks, and this is a real problem since I am restricted in travel and so need to order my groceries. Can someone please address these problems? I have lived in this house all of my life and would like to be able to remain here. Thank you in advance for addressing my issues.
I have tried to contact USPS, Castle Shannon, 15234, more than ten times. Every time someone hangs up on me without answering. My call is about mail that was said not to be deliverable. I have double checked the address and it is correct. I'm trying to find out what to do next, but I can't get anyone to answer the phone. I called the Cincinnati USPS to ask why the mail couldn't be delivered and they told me to verify the address to insure it is correct. I have done that and now I need to go to the next step to send my insurance premium again.
Tried to call listed phone number, not answering after several tries. We put a hold in person & filled out a card. Mail still being delivered to our address. This has been an ongoing problem. They are very inefficient!!
