I have a cluster mail box and a package containing a prescription was delivered. The mail carrier put this in a large mail box and left a key that does not open the door. I have been to the Fairfield office and explained the problem. I was told they could do nothing but tell the carrier. That was three days ago. Nothing has been done. I have also called the office 7 times and no one has ever picked up the phone. Terrible service.
HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANY MAIL FROM THE FAIRFIELD POST OFFICE IN HILTON HEAD FOR OVER A MONTH NOW. THIS IN SPITE OF SUBMITTING A CHANGE OF ADDRESS AND NUMEROUS FOLLOW-UPS BY BOTH PHONE AND E-MAIL.
DUE TO LOSS OF MAIL, I SUBSCRIBED TO RESIDENTIAL PREMIUM FORWARDING SERVICES ON 17 JULY. SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED TWO (2) SHIPMENTS OF MAIL BY NOW... BUT NOTHING HAS COME. THIRD SHIPMENT IS DUE THIS WEEK.
THE LAST I HEARD FROM THE FAIRFIELD POST OFFICE IN HILTON WAS AN E-MAIL RECEIVED ON 2 AUG FROM COLLEEN JOHNSON SAYING SHE WOULD RESEARCH THE ISSUE AND TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON. HAVE HEARD NOTHING SINCE THE E-MAIL.
ALL PHONE CALLS TO THE FAIRFILED POST OFFICE AT (843) 682-3002 ARE NOT ANSWERED. PHONE JUST RINGS AND THEN DISCONNECTS.
EFFORTS BY THE BURNSVILLE NC POST OFFICE HAVE ALSO BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL SINCE THEIR PHONE CALLS AND E-MAILS TO THE FAIRFIELD POST OFFICE IN HILTON HEAD ARE NOT RETURNED.
YESTERDAY I GOT A PHONE CALL FROM A NEIGHBOR WHO SAID I HAD SEVERAL DAYS OF MAIL IN MY MAILBOX IN HILTON HEAD.
MY OLD ADRESS (SERVED BY THE FAIRFIELD POST OFFICE AND MY CARRIER MARIA) IS 2 VILLAGE NOTH DRIVE APARTMENT 22 HILTON HEAD, SC 29926 THIS IS THE ADRESS WHERE MAIL SHOULD BE FORWARDED FROM.
MY CURRENT ADDRESS IS PO BOX 1600, BURNSVILLE, N.C. 28714. THE POSTMASTER HERE INDICATES THAT THEY ARE HOLDING NO MAIL FOR ME FROM HILTON HEAD.
IN SUMMARY I WAS FORCED TO GO TO A PREMIUM MAIL FORWARDING SERVICE AT SIGNIFICANT EXPENSE ($ 381.75 FOR FOOUR MONTHS (7/17 UNTIL 10/19/23) AND THIS HAS STILL NOT RESOLVED THE PROBLEM.
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE FROM COLLEEN JOHNSON AT THE FAIRFIELD POST OFFICE ON HILTON HEAD ! i AM REQUESTING THAT USPS MANAGEMENT GET INVOLVED, RESOLVE THE PROBLEM, AND RESEARCH WHY IT HAPPENED.

I mailed a package on December 1 and the est.arrival date was Dec 8. I have been tracking my package and it has sat somewhere since Dec. 5. I contacted the USP and they tell me it appears it has never left Hilton Head. My package is Christmas presents for children and grandchildren in Arizona. Tracking number 9534611419470336536318. Do not understand why my package has not left Hilton Head. Please advise.
We just purchased a home at 111 Moss Creek Drive, Hilton Head, SC
29926 and mail delivered to that address for us was returned to sender.
