Got a notification my package was delivered....but it wasn't. I have locking mailbox and locking box for packages. This is 3rd time this summer my package didn't arrive
My box was vandalized someone tore the door off my mailbox they said they refuse the postal people said they refuse to deliver mail to my box because it was broken in that the property manager was responsible for replacing the door well the property managers told me I had to wait I call the police and filed a police report of the vandalism so they started holding my mail at the post office but every since they start holding my mail at the post office I haven't received any of my mail today I called and I also asked for a supervisor which I didn't get anywhere no one will let me speak to a supervisor because I wanted to initially make sure it's been over 2 weeks now my mail should be on hold there I should have mail here of my regular mail service to be in order but let y'all tell it I don't got no mail that doesn't make any sense to me I don't even really feel like they go and look for your mail I really feel like I'm being pushed or shot to the side they need to do better with their customer service if you do your job that you're supposed to do on a daily it shouldn't be that frustrating or that confusing all y'all know one another in the office they should have been had communication with my postal carrier to my door I mean to my mailbox they should already have let her know over two weeks ago okay Ms Thomas Mel comes to the office I would just like to speak to a supervisor to make sure that they're doing things correctly they shouldn't be sending my mail back to retender resender they shouldn't be sending my mail to nobody else's address they shouldn't be leaving it in the broken box it should be at the post office I would like to speak to a supervisor I appreciate for supervisor call me personally or email me cuz I'm not going to stop calling until I get this resolved with my mail
I previously worked for the post office on Cross County Road in Charleston SC, and they didn't pay me for the day I worked. How can I go about getting my money?

I was in your office two days ago looking for some very important mail. The sender had a research request done in Tn. I was told that all of mail was located and in West Columbia, but on the way to me . I was to receive it today. It did not come. Did it really get sent to me, or is it sitting in a box in West Columbia still. It is imperative that I get my mail. Why would you assure me that I would receive it today?
I've had ongoing issues with this post office for 15 years. They've stopped my mail a couple of times. Declared my house vacant (lawn mowed, house immaculate, mailed checked... so no reason). Yesterday however beats everything. I have a package delivered with a tracking number at 10:40 a.m. I get the notification. When I get home last night there is nothing in the mailbox! I check my security camera and the package is delivered at 10:40 a.m. and at 5:41 p.m. another postal worker comes and takes it out of my box!!! I am so dumbfounded. So now for the hundredth time I have to call and go down there. SMDH!!!
Walk in hours for passport applications indicate 10am to 2pm. Nowhere says 30 first that walk in!!! Either say that on the website or accept all walk ins up to 2pm. Isn't this why the worker only accepts up to 2pm? So she will be done by 4pm as indicated that the passport hours are? I was there with 2 kids at 11:45am and I was send away. UNACCEPTABLE!!! Since it only takes 4 minutes to be done with each application (30x4min=2 hours), done that the next day in another post office (10 max in a hard case maybe?)!! it looks that something is not working correctly in the Cross County Passport Service Location. Having to take time off work to be treated like this is frustrating. Especially since I did everything I saw in the USPS on-line pages!!!
I agree with everyone else on the board. I just wasted the last hour of my entire family's life with these folks. UPS, Fedex, DHL - please put this government subsidized agency under for good. I can certainly see why this agency runs in the RED every single year - on our dime mind you. Terrible customer service from the few I dealt with. Just some advice - if you call before you go, please make sure you get the name of whoever you talked to. I was basically called a liar to my face saying we were not told what we heard. I had to vent - sorry!
Terrible, awful service. I had a package sent to my office. According to tracking, they attempted delivery on Saturday, but couldn't because "business closed." Well, guess what. My business is OPEN every Saturday. Monday it said "Invalid Address." Well, no. The address was absolutely correct. Then it it said "delivered-left in mailbox" yesterday. Uh--no again.
After emailing our property management company, they sent a message to all of the tenants in our building. Turns out the delivery person put my package - plus several other pieces of mail belonging to my company . Just really poor service. They make the postal test so hard, you'd think that the carriers would be better at what they are paid for.
I just want to complain about the cross county post office in south Carolina they have one web site that says they close at 6:30pm but when you get there at 5pm they are closed and there are no signs with hours on the doors until you get inside they need to post the hours on the outside doors and remove their old website that says they close at 6:30 I just found this web site that has the new hours
The USPS is run by the biggest incompetent megalomaniacs on the planet. I recently had a package sent from China and they accidentally put the wrong zip code on the address, a zip code of the town literally bordering mine......instead of looking at the town name and sending it on they decided to say $@:k YOU and sent it back to China.
I agreed this is crazy, the status of my package has beent he same since Feb 5th and the estimated delivery date was Feb 6th, but i still dont have my package. I called and they said it is on a truck somewhere, but they dont know where. I am leaving town today and needed the package to take with me, i ordered the items on Jan 30th i was told it only takes 4 to 5 days to get it to me that was 2 weeks ago and still nothing.
843-760-5330...this is the actual number. That 803 number is in a completely different city. I just got off the phone with this post office using the updated number I posted.
I don't understand how this U.S. Postal Service site tells you wrong information. Lets get it together people. The phone number is wrong the hours of operation for passport is wrong. I tried to call to set up an appointment for a passport but guess what, the number is wrong. So I drive to cross county Postal service just to find out the hours are not what the site say. Somebody who runs this site needs to be held accountable. If not you are still advertising false information.
