This post office does not deliver mail nor do they work with the public to locate lost mail within their office. Extremely terrible service. Will use UPS going forward as less chance of theft by employees.
I had 2 packages I needed shipped. I had the labels in my phone but they said they couldnt do it had to go somewhere else to get them printed. Went to ups and they helped me get them printed. went back and tried to ship one and i had a priority mail box inside out and they wouldnt ship it because it didnt match the label. had to buy a shipping package then they claimed they didnt have tape and made me purchase a roll of tape costing me $7.00 to ship a package that was supposed to ship for free cause the company was paying to have the box returned to them. The old lady at the window was nasty and the guy who was pleasant was not helpful. I should not have had to buy a packaging or the tape to attach the label. and they only had 1 window open with a line almost out the door til the old lady decided to open a window after an hour. very unsatified with this office today.
I want to thank the North Branch for answering the phone quickly and helping me within 2 minutes! I had tried two of the 800 numbers and have never heard so many advertisements and menus...before I got put on hold. Also the young lady who helped me (1/27 at 1:10pm) was very professional, helpful and nice.
I took a package to the Jackson North post office on Nov 15, this is the 27th and it still has not left the facility. Why? You advertise about what good service the postal department gives but not in this case.
