Postal Locations

I was mailing a package with important documents today, and in the midst of getting it ready, I realized this is likely one of two busiest days in the year for you. Nevertheless, my package was picked up on time by a very charming and delightful young 20-something who gave her name as Amanda, I believe. My sister and I are senior citizens and don't drive so the Post Office is our link to the outside world. A very sharp, attractive person out here doing a wonderful job for this community which I'm happy to be a part of. And our regular postman, I don't know his name but he's exceptional as well! My daughter in Las Vegas will be very pleased to get it on time. It was important to her so I'll say thank you for her as well. Service on our block seems to continually improve. I've been here 10 years now and everyone is just what you would like your ideal postman or postwoman to be. And to me, that means they're as good as they were back in the '50s (and I consider that's to be a great compliment. The USPS always goes that extra mile and in this day and age, that's becoming more of a rarity it seems like every day. Always will a smile, they answer questions, ask if there's anything else they can help with, and then they continue on delivering the mail and making us the community that we are. I feel very lucky to live at 2290 Elzey where the postmen and women are so fine!
