This is a dismal place. I had not been inside for almost a year because it's always a bad experience in one way or another. Today I asked to look at commemoratives and offered to step aside with the notebook so that I did not hold up the next person. Larry, who was "helping" me, instructed me to move still farther away. When he had almost finished with that customer, and I tried to move back toward his station, he chastised me again--he was helping someone else! Right! Save yourself. There are other places to buy stamps.

We walked into this post office for passports services at 8:30am. The website says the walk in hours 9am to 1pm on Saturday. As soon as we walked in the Clark said we are not accepting any more applications.

Absolutely horrible service at this location. I booked an appointment to get my passport and the passport clerk ignored my appointment and went on a long break. Beyond unbelievable. I was FINALLY called to the front desk over 30 minutes later causing me to be 15 minutes late from lunch WITHOUT PAY!!! Avoid this place at all costs if you need a passport because they ignore scheduled appointments.

Our niece is a graduate from UT and lives in an apartment on Jollyville. We send her letters from Arlington often to her address. Our friends also send her cards. All of the mail that we send to her address is being returned with a sticker "return to sender not deliverable as addressed, unable to forward". Can someone please see why her mail is not being delivered to 11160 Jollyville Rd? This is ridiculous! Please help!

I (Randy or Randall Allen) am complaining about my post man/woman. I live at 11149 Calavar Drive Austin, Tx 78726. This has been going for a year now. First we never know when our mail will be delivered. I have lived here for 18 years and the mail was always delivered by 1:30PM at the latest. My my real complaint is that our postman/woman is mixing up my address with another who's address is 11149 Rio Vista. We are mail people to each other a lot because of the constant mix ups. I have left sticky notes (in a nice fashion) about the problem and the problem continues to exist. And some of the mix ups concern important checks in the mail we have to exchange. I just went down to get my mail at 3PM and it had not been delivered as yet. A lady pulled up to get her mail and I told her that it hadn't been delivered - she got really angry and blew saying the mail person had delivered 2 boxes on her doorstep that wasn't even her's yesterday. I get the covid thing and short staff, but someone needs to talk to our postman/woman and get this straightened out. As I said, we are tired of being each other's mail man/woman. I will end on a good note. I do love the email I get in the mornings showing what I am getting in the mail each day. It's cool - but huh? Is it's so actuate actually when I get someone else's email? Have been trying to call them all day about a package being returned to sender without any explanation. Have tried a dozen times throughout the day, not one answer! Their postmaster email address is incorrect. So frustrated as I am a small online business owner and struggling to get packages out on time and without costly issues.

Our neighborhood cluster box keeps getting broken in to and it takes forever to get it repaired. Also, I stand in long lines to retrieve my mail being held at your location only to find out that the mail isn't properly sorted (lady has to thumb thru stacks of mail) and I know for sure that some of my mail is lost..(I know this because I can see online on informed delivery that it came in). There doesnt seem to be a supervisor or anyone I can speak to about this.

It’s disappointing service from this post office. We often get someone else mails. Some of our critical Tax documents are missing - informed delivery says we should have received it - but not in our mail box. This is a pitiful service - when I call the post office no one picks up. I have moved most my documents to online only, unfortunately some people still send tax documents - now they are missing and nothing we can do :-(

I also have an notice that I had a package delivered that was not delivered to this address. 4704 Balcones Woods Drive, Austin Tx.78759

This has been some of the worst customer service I’ve ever received. A package was at the post office because it couldn’t be delivered, I requested a redelivery the day after it couldn’t be delivered and never saw my package. I got on the website trying to get ahold of someone and filled out the “where’s my package form” and heard nothing. Then I was notified that my package was being returned to the sender because it was unclaimed!! So I filled out the form again and only after the second submission of the form did I hear from someone. Now I have to reach out to the seller to see if they can resend my shipment. This is ridiculous!! Why can’t you just deliver it to the from door like all the other postage companies? Are you going to reimburse me for what I paid in postage?

Horrible. The were pretty rude, but I’m more upset that they continually send my payroll back to sender. It’s like they’re going out of there way to financially ruin me. There’s no recourse either. I’m completely at a loss as to what to do. The Branch postmen repeatedly Deliver my sensitive mail to my neighbors and I get there’s. I’m tired of it. If I could pay for FedEx to handle all of mail I would.

This post office is horrible. Employees are rude or abrupt with customers, and they lack problem-solving skills. Frequent long lines here and no additional employees at windows to help customers. Did not properly forward important mail for my elderly parents from the Social Security Administration. Were very rude to my son when he went to pick up a package for his brother who is immune-compromised and cannot go out to places with many people during pandemic. My son waited in line for an hour, only to be told he could not pick package up for his brother, who needed to come in person. No help, no problem solving of this situation - just incredibly rude! Then yesterday, my mail carrier shows up at my door without a mask or gloves, and she wants me to sign for a package with her pen - no social distancing! This put me in danger, as well as my husband (we are both seniors) and my very elderly parents who I care for part time. My sons and I have tried to discuss these situations with someone in this office over the phone. No luck. The phone rings, then call is transferred, then more ringing or waiting, then either put on hold for more than 10 minutes or the phone is picked up by someone and then hung up. FYI I regularly sign petitions defending the US Postal Service but these experiences have led me to believe that maybe it’s time to end it! I expect a courteous reply but I know I won’t hear anything. Beyond angry!!

Packages have not been delivered including my passport. Currently the carrier side door is open and all mail is exposed. I have Called Austin police dept to investigate. The 512-331-9802 has not been answered in three days. This situation is dangerous as financial data, bank statements...etc can be stolen and identify theft is an immediate threat. Call [number removed]. If I don’t Get a response today by 3 pm I am calling the FBI.

There were 2 windows open (of 6 or 7) . One worker went to the back to get something for a customer & remained gone for some time- they’re never in a rush to do anything but leave. I was next in line & went to the one other worker’s window & she promptly told me her window was closed. I asked if there was actually any window open (because no one else was there) and she rudely said “he’ll be back”. There was a line of 10+ people. I put my box down that I was going to purchase, took my things & went to the UPS store. I was in & out of there within 5 minutes & received appreciative service. I will never return to this post office. It’s a waste of time.

USPS is awful. This location never answers their phone. 1-800 is a horrible maze. People, just use UPS as much as possible. And get to online billing for everything. We had our neighborhood bank of boxes broken into. No mail for 5 days before I finally decided something really must be up. NO NOTE was posted on the box. Now we have to drive 4 miles to pick up mail daily. NO timeline is in place to replace the box. REALLY?? I wish USPS would just go bankrupt so no one uses this ridiculous service. No wonder Amazon is doing their own delivery service.....hmmmm......

TERRIBLE SERVICE. I sent my son a letter 8 days ago and he has not received it. I called the PO at 11900 Jollyville Rd, (512) 331-9802, over a few hours this morning and no one answers the phone...once, someone picked up and when I said hello, the person hung up. What kind of service is this? People don't call for the heck of it! It should not take 8 days for a letter from Virginia to reached Austin, TX. Check your mail delivery man to find out if the mail is being delivered on time. This is ridiculous!!!!

Haven't received our mail in a week, and it's been off and on for the past three months. The mail service is horrible. We are missing so many payments and other mail it's ridiculous. The postman just almost ran over an elderly woman in our parking lot, who wasn't moving fast enough for him apparently. I tried to call this post office several times and the phone just rings 100 times and finally disconnects. I'm filing a complaint with the PAGR!

Our mailbox on the outside of our building has a sign on it that says something to the effect of "This box scheduled for removal". I just have a question about this that's all. Will the USPS continue to collect from this box up until the box is removed? That's it. That's all I want to know. SO, I TRIED to call the PO literally just up the street from our building. All it did was ring until it disconnected. I tried calling the 800 number. It is nothing more than a maze of menu's that does not contain any useful information or direction regarding the nature of my question. REALLY!? They are closed by the time I get off work and not convenient from my home. Literally UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Please answer your phone, or else change your hours so that people who work can walk in and talk to someone face to face! Unacceptable. You should have to take off work to go to your post office.

OMG THEY NEVER FREAKIN' ANSWER THEIR PHONES! EVER! I tried and left the phone ring for over 5 minutes. Tried in morning and later in day. Still never answered the phone. What if it was an emergency??? I mean I know you don't care about my lost package. I put phone on speaker and let it ring until I got disconnected with a busy signal. I am stuck at home and needed to fix a problem with a delivery. In the past had this same issue. Either fix your phone or have someone answer it.
