Not getting mail every day. A package was to be delivered and said could not deliver it. Boxes are available so why not? This post office has a lot of issues. Where is the inspectors?

The postal worker I dealt with this morning was completely incompetent. They have my package because they tried to deliver it and left me a notice, but she said it's been delivered, but the paperwork says otherwise. Going there is like entering a 3rd world country.

Our gangbox was vandalized about 2 months ago, no telling when it will get fixed, the line to pick up mail from the post office is ridiculously long...Some people don't have an hour or two to pick up their mail....Why can't they do something to speed up the process, so frustrating....

The Bluebonnet post office location on Braker Lane that serves my home in Austin has become unpredictable lately. We depend on our mail to receive not only letters and packages from our friends, family, and vendors but to receive checks from our clients from which we depend on in order to make a living as well. Lately we've had parcels that were reported delivered to us but never in our box as well as the same issue with outgoing packages. So I am asking you reading this review to please contact your local and federal Representatives,Speaker of the house, Majority Leader, whomever to please do everything within the power and realm of their office to prioritize the improvement of the mail service?

I am dumbfounded when the inspector office in Houston has me on hold while they try to call Bluebonnet to help me report a mail theft. they never answered after 20 minutes of trying. she gave me the direct number and I cannot get through either. from the messages posted here, this has been a problem for over a year. how are we supposed to get the help we need when vandals break into our cluster boxes and steal all the mail for our street??!! The boxes are over 30 years old but the ones in other parts of our neighborhood took over 6 months to replace after vandals broke in. So we will have to go to Bluebonnet, stand in those crazy lines for 30 minutes every day just to get our mail for the next 6 months? wow. wish there was a way to report higher up to get help needed.

This place should not be called the US Postal Service. They don't know the word service. I recently asked for a vacation hold via the USPS website and asked that my mail be delivered when we got home. When we did return, there was a note in our box saying that the box had been overfilled and that I had to pick my mail up at the Bluebonnet Station and that it would be returned to sender in 10 days. After a 45 minute wait (I was 10th in line) I received our mail. Some was crumpled - it had obviously been stuffed in our box before it was removed. When I left there were 15 people in line. This place is a disgrace and should be avoided if at all possible.

We had packages that were tracked and "delivered" to our box. But I was there and the packages were not delivered. You can't trust a package to get delivered here. It is a stand alone post office mail box station but they'll say "Delivery attempted - No access to delivery location" - but it is yours and if you stopped by the house we have a ring camera and no one showed up. Or They'll say delivered and it wasn't. If you call the post office for this location no one ever picks up so I'm not sure what to do but it appears I'm not the only one.

I had a misplaced certified package. Of course the 800 postal service number was useful, so I was able to find a phone number for the local post office. I tried 4 times- it would "transfer to the operator" and then ring 10 times and disconnect. It was hopeless. We are continually reminded why the post office is going (and should go) out of business. I guess I will have to try to go over there and get run around in person.

Message from another state. Have tried to call YOU TEN TIMES over last two days. Judging from all the reviews, you will NEVER answer the phone! You lost my package that tracking info shows you delivered eight (8) days ago. Did you leave it on my daughter's porch or put it in another person's mailbox (in the bank of neighborhood boxes)...which has happened before? The postman has the Master Key and has in the past placed someone else's pkg in her box. I have insurance on the pkg and was told by my local PO in GA that you need to research the postman's scan. How can we get that done if I can't contact you?!? Apparently NO EMAIL ADDRESS is available!?! Someone desperately needs to overhaul your PO branch on West Braker Lane called "Bluebonnet". You should give up the pretty name for a more descriptive one indicating your terrible DYSFUNCTIONALITY!!! When can I expect to hear from you???

The mail carrier didn't come by yesterday even though there are (3) businesses operating here. Outgoing mail not picked up. Disappointing. And when I attempted to call Blue Bonnet location to request delivery/pickup today, the recording for being closed was still on even though the website indicates otherwise. No wonder people are moving towards online portals for their communication and payments.

SM PO SUCKS. You can't use the self service to mail a box. The big silver thing that takes the boxes has been BROKEN for 7 years. So I get my package ready and take it to the Bluebonnet station to use their big silver drop off box and it's freaking locked. Your the MOST inefficient and least helpful service I've ever had the displeasure to work with. When it take me an hour to stand in line just to drop off a freaking box. No wonder ya'll are going down. Good riddance. I'll pay more money for actual service that's not slow, broken or outdated.

No movement on package received at this post office since Feb. 14. Tracking info states received at 0400 and went out for delivery at 0700 but intended receiver never received package. Attempted to reach post office via phone multiple times. No answer, unable to leave message as below reviews concur. Will open case today as I did insure this package. This is ridiculous that this post office has no accountability and should be shut down. I called other post office in the Austin area and had no problems establishing contact. Unfortunately they weren't able to help since the package is sitting on the shelf at the Bluebonnet Station Post Office. I wish I could show up at my job, be incompetent, receive compensation like the money these people do and the benefits they're offered. Where is there supervisor? Oh yea, probably yacking it up on their cell phone or on FB not paying any attention to what their employees AREN'T doing?!?!?!!

They are still not answering the phone. I left the little key to the storage box for packages in my mailbox because the storage box at the mailboxes has been broken into and is empty. My package is gone. Instead, I've got a mailbox stuffed full of mail that isn't mine. I try to be paperless as much as I can for this very reason. The post office can no longer be trusted. Clustered community mailboxes suck.

They NEVER pick up their phone. They “lost” my package .. Last person to have it was a driver...now all of a sudden it’s missing. They “attempted “ a delivery when I was hope sitting in the living room waiting for it lol. (All day) they never actually came . I rescheduled delivery for the next day ... (Dec 3rd) and its now December 10th and no package has yet to be re-delivered. I went to the post office since they NEVER answer, and now they’re saying they don’t know where my package is? And the last thing they are showing is that it was scheduled for re-delivery. I am now seeing more complaints of the same thing . Sounds like employees are the ones who are stealing packages.

I am trying to find out why a package from overseas WAS NOT held at my post office (Bluebonnet Station) when I had a mail hold on record whilst I was outside the country. Instead, it was held for a couple of days and then returned to sender in Japan as "unclaimed" even though the mail hold was still in effect. This has cost me hundreds of dollars in non-delivered merchandise and the shipper has not received the package back yet.

For the past month or so the USPS driver will not deliver the packages to our door as they have in the past. According to the driver I personally spoke with, he said his Supervisor instructed him to leave packages by the community mail area (which is open and anyone can grab a package) I find this pretty hard to believe and haven't been able to get any answers about this. Our apartment community is doing their best to try and help, but are limited in space to hold all the packages. Allowing peoples legal documents to be left out in the public surly can't be legal.? Can it?

Beyond rude. Moved into the neighborhood. Never got mail. Upon calling I was told (by a rude guy who literally at one point said "listen lady...") the neighborhood is being converted to a curbside only mail route and need a mailbox by the curb before I'll receive mail. In the mean time anything sent has apparently been sent back to sender. Would have been nice to have been TOLD that there's a new policy and we need a mailbox. Welcome to the neighborhood...

I have called so many different numbers trying to get through to a manager or anyone that could help. When we get through to the person they are not helpful or hang up. We are still having issues. We are receiving mail 2 weeks after postmarked. I am not sure what to do. Does anyone have any numbers I can call to get through to someone? Thanks,

I have lived at 15500 Ozone Place for 21 years. First, my neighborhood has to contend with spray painting and complete destroying of our mail boxes having to drive 17 miles to get our mail on Bracker. Now for about 5 months I have complained to the pleasant male carrier about mail being lost. He replied that when he is absent there is a woman who does not do her job right. I have lost parcels, important mail and the mail have 15500 Ecorio is being left in my box. I am very tired of this poor carrier not doing her job. It has cost me extra money and time to correct issues. Please give the job to a responsible person who is well trained. Thanks so much. By the way the Bluebonnet station never answers their phone and there was a 30 minute wait for the 800 #. Sincerely, Marilyn Guidry 512 627-6777

Horrible. No responsibility for mistakes. The post office accidentally re-keyed our commercial mailbox, at our place of business, for a new tenant. There was some confusion over unit numbers. I have visited and called many times, but I am never able to speak with whoever is in charge of work orders for the mailbox or get a call back. The people I spoke with in person and on the phone have been polite, but despite promises, the mistake is never corrected. I have been waiting almost 3 months and still have no mailbox.

They do what they can to avoid passports at all costs. If there are 4 people in the mailing line they simply close the passport line. I went yesterday at 1:30 and was told it was closed. I went back today even earlier and they told me not only was it closed but there was a hand written sign up sheet. You are supposed to go there in the morning to sign up then go back when they call you....That simply does not work for anyone working a normal 8-5 job with a set lunch. At least post appointment slots online or put the sign up on here. The only reason this branch stays open is because people have to use it for certain things. Otherwise it would have been shut down a week after opening. They simply do not care and do not want to do their job.

They keep LYING ABOUT DELIVERY. I have lost almost a dozen packages in the last year, mostly collectibles and other valuables, because this station straight up lies and steals mail. I yelled at the Postmaster a few months ago and it got better, but they've just done it again: claimed they delivered a valuable package when they didn't. This is the most horrible, shady Post Office ever to disgrace the nation.

My wife and I had an appointment last week and the Postal employee did not show up. We were not notified, (we each have a cell phone and a land line) even though we were assured we were called. When I called back today, I was told that all appointments were filled and to call back after march 20th. After spending the time to get all the information together and the time to pick up my wife, which she lost pay for no one seems to care. Just in case you wonder why the Postal Service has a bad reputation, this is just one reason. You cancel and we pay for it. Nice work!

When I had to have my mail held for over two weeks and delivered to me on a Saturday, I was worried. You see, the Bluebonnet Station on Braker Lane which serves my ZIP code does not provide consistently reliable delivery service, has signage that guarantees you will be in the wrong line for the service you need, and the window personnel are frequently brusque to the point of rudeness. After waiting until mid afternoon on Saturday before the Monday Columbus holiday for the mail carrier, my worst fear was confirmed. My held mail including the needed medication from my mail-order pharmacy was not on his truck—he assured me that he had not loaded his own truck that morning, and yes, there were people still working at the station. I called, determined to let the phone ring long enough to drive someone crazy enough to answer it. And it did take awhile, but eventually the phone was answered, and it was confirmed that my mail was there. The voice on the phone told me he would get someone to bring it to me that afternoon, and he added that his name was Cornelius. I had already given up at 7:30 p.m. when there was a firm knock on the door. There stood Cornelius himself holding the box of mail with my medicine on top. No carriers were coming my way Saturday afternoon, so he brought it to me on his way home after work. I nominate Cornelius for postmaster general! Then he won't have to work at that awful Bluebonnet Station.

service here is ridiculous. I moved into a new apartment, and management told me to call Bluebonnet Station to get a mail key, and gave me a handout with the number. I dutifully called, and TJ informed me that I would have to go RENT a key from some thirf party? He also seemed quite angry with having to answer the phone. I decided to try in person, so I drove over. The wait wasn't bad, but the clerk told me I should have called to request a key, so I told her i had. She didn't belive me, told me to fill out a hold form, and that it SHOULD only take a week but PROBABLY WOULD take 2 weeks, all while my mail was on hold becasue she couldn't give it to me. She told me to call back in a week to check. A week later, i started calling at 8:30AM. Between then and 11AM, the phone rang interminably, was busy, was hung up as soon as it was answered and just generall ignored. When the call was finally answered (by ourr old pal TJ) he was rude and surly and put me on hold for 20 minutes. Someone else came on and meekly said my key was ready. We'll see...more to come...

I kept track of a small package and it was out for delivery today. Mail delivery was late today. I kept checking the mail. It finally came this evening. But there was no package nor a key for the package locker. I know it was not left at the door because we were home the whole time and we have dogs that go berserk at the door whenever a box is left on the porch. I am afraid it got delivered to the wrong place.

Have been having a problem with pick-up and delivery of my mail. The previous delivery personnel was great and above great. Since these folks have left here is what has happened. I put up my flag for mail pick up - it may or may not be picked up - it may or may not be scanned if picked up - the flag may or may not be put down to show service rendered. Today had mail to pick up - @ 6:00 flag still up so check box to find that "part" of the mail had been picked up - but one left and not scanned - the ones picked up were also not scanned. Mail was left - hope it was all of mail. I send tracking numbers to people I sell to and now this number just show I have "made label" when in fact I did mail it - very frustrating! I believe these new folks need more training.

I've had the good fortune to be living in the delivery area of Bluebonnet Post Office again, after 8 years or so, and their service is just like I remember it. Luckily, we now have advanced online tracking, so I don't have to spend hours on hold to be rudely told "says here they delivered it." I love that I can file a complaint online, since I didn't have enough ways to be ignored already. I like this post office almost as much as I like sovereign immunity. Or getting punched in the face.

You have credit card swipers at this location at every station. These Card swipers have slots for credit cards with chips. None of the chip slots are functional. There is no signage that the slots are not functional. The staff could EASILY put tape over the slots preventing customers from attempting to use them. INSTEAD staff become RUDE with customers for not swiping the card and using the chip slot. That is a setup for abuse. Cover the slots, or put signage up next to the card swipers. It is absolutely unacceptable for STAFF to be smug, condescending, or rude because customers attempt to use the chip reader slot infront of them. If you don't use the chip slots, get some new card swipers without them.

I ordered something online for my first time. Tracking said "delivered" but there's nothing in my mail, and nothing at my leasing office. I called and asked what happened. TJ answered and his main concern was how I got that number. REALLY? That's what he got out of my call? No help, no concern at all. The time I called and how I got the number was the most important part of that guy's entire day because he wanted to go home. Hey TJ, if your reading this, why don't you go home and let someone else do your job because you really SUCK at it. As for my issue in the first place, still unresolved.

I have had mail carriers fail to deliver packages twice in two weeks, file a redelivery request that gets ignored. I don't have time to go over there since I'm working. This is abysmal, and of course there is no way to complain and actually get help. The one time I spoke to a human, he was rude and actively unhelpful.

The mail carrier that services 78753 area code must be under the influence. She/he placed my packages in the wrong mailbox on Jan. 5th. These packages were three yards and five yards of fabric which she could NOT squeeze into the small box as she claims she did . I can say she delivered to the wrong box because she did it again on Feb 17 only this time the neighbor that got it was kind enough to bring it to my door which I was glad he did since it was a $90 book. Then, if that weren't enough, she did it AGAIN today on Feb 24th. I was waiting for two more books so upon checking my e-mail that said delivered I rushed off to my mailbox just to be disappointed again. For the first package I called them on Jan 7th, 12th, 20th, 24th, Feb 4th, 10th, and 18th. Every week they tell me the same thing, "I am going to report this and we will get back to you within two days". NOBODY EVER CALLS! I've even called their headquarters and Consumer Affairs. NO CALLS RETURNED. I am utterly disgusted with USPS.

I had a very different experience at the Bluebonnet station. The clerk was very helpful. When I arrived there was some confusion as to if we needed to sign in or just hop in the line on the right of the door. The clerk came out and made sure we were all signed in, and also clarified that her camera was out of commission and sent people next door to Walgreens. While she wasn't especially pleasant, i. e. Constantly smiling, she was informative and helpful. Remember the post office isn't rated on their customer service, and she is basically performing the exact same task all day long. So keep that in mind when visiting.
