Carriers from this location regularly steal mail. I watched the guy do it and reported them. Please be aware. I stopped using usps.

I have mailed Holiday packages a couple times this month. The lines were VERY long! The employees both times were friendly & informed! I know I couldn’t do their job with all the people coming in @ the last minute that expect to be waited on immediately & complaining! Happy Holidays

I’ve only had negative interactions with these employees. Every question you may have gets “answered” with a decisive and condescending manner. Their delivery driver even throws personal insults and tries to be threatening. It’s a downright unprofessional staff here.

I picked up mail today 9/26/23 at the Post Office. The mail I received today was dated 10 Aug 2023 PM 2. It included two previously expected checks that were due before the t 15th of August.

I got a slip on my door saying I missed a package delivery that requires a signature. I'm not expecting anything that should need a signature, but I scheduled a redelivery. It asked where to leave the package and gave a place for comments. I requested redelivery for the next day to the package lockers & specifically noted that I am not home during the day. Instead of reading the note, they attempted to deliver to my door for a signature again & left a final notice saying I can't reschedule & have to come pick up the package. And of course they're closed before I get home from work. How do we just go from 1 attempt to final notice? And why give me the option of choosing where to leave the package if you won't leave it!? I can't sit at home all day waiting for you to deliver something, especially when you don't even offer a delivery window. Every other business allows online signatures for all sorts of transactions. Get with the times USPS! Request my online signature & stick it in a package locker. This is ridiculous!

4 Days ago, I got one of those slips saying there was a letter I had to sign for. I filled in the part saying that the letter could be left at my street address (6704 Roseborough Drive, Austin-78747-4023). The rural carrier had not brought the letter to me...Why? Mis-deliveries are very routine with this carrier. Can someone please talk to him?

Our mailboxes were vandalized over a month ago. The others in our neighborhood as well. We were told that they will not be fixed anytime soon (what??). So, we all have to go to the P.O. to pick up our mail. Every time I go, the line is incredibly long, which wouldn't be so bad if it actually MOVED! It takes SO long for the person at the Dutch Door to help each resident that you have to pack a lunch to wait in line that long. Can we get a second person helping that door during peak hours since it is known that so many mailboxes are defunct? It is so maddening that nothing is being done about our mailboxes AND the turtle line is a stand-still in the afternoons.

Trying to track a package that supposedly was delivered, but I did not receive. #9400108205497758825477. It says, "animal interference" , but I do not have any dogs! Tried to call 4 times, each time I was put on hold and then they hung up on me.

Just go down to the mockingbird station and they will give you the keys. You will have to bring your electric bill and ID to verify you and your address. You just stand in line then present those two documents and you'll get your keys. Make sure the bill is in your name.

This post office is a joke. They don’t answer the phone. The postman left a pink slip in my box that said my box was full so he couldn’t leave my package, i live in an apartment he could have put it in one of the boxes meant for packages and left a key or brought it to my door, and there was nothing else on my box. We have been to the post office and they claim they don’t have it and the postmaster will call me the next day NO CALL. The 800. Number has left them several messages no response. I’m thinking of calling the news media

I wish they would answer the phone. I have a package that says it was delivered last week to my cluster mailbox yet I received no key for package locker. I have been checking all week-still not key. I have submitted a ticket through USPS but thought I would try to call. Guess I will need to go to the station. Why not have a message on your website that there is no working phone.

I haven't received any mail in five days. The postal currier has not been to my house. I know this due to the fact I had mail delivered that wasn't mine. I placed it back into my mail box with the flag up. I will be delivering the mail myself to the address that is on the letter. The Mockingbird station gets a poor rating from me over their currier that has my route.

The Mockingbird station is filled with employees who always try to make your experience a good one. Even if I have only waited a few minutes in line, they always say, "Sorry for the wait!" and are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. They make going to this post office a very pleasant experience. They are also employing all the restrictions necessary to keep us safe in the pandemic.

I understand this is a post office but I find it difficult to believe noone can EVER pick up the phone when calling back to back 25 times. Yet again, my package says it was delivered Monday which in itself is strange but says they put it in one of the boxes. I live in apartments yet have received no key to a box that my pkg was allegedly placed in. So where is my package.Cannot just go into a post office during a pandemic as I have a compromised immune system and am totally quarantined. Cant get anyone to pick up phone to check. This is unacceptable. As I look through the comments, I see this is very typical. We need to be able to trust our carriers or atleast reach someone to get answers in the event a mistake has been made.

I would like for the postmaster of Mockingbird Station to counsel the mail carrier for Dixon Dr to please pick up the mail in our mail boxes. I double bag my gas payment in plastic sleeves because it was raining on Friday (3/3/20) but it was not picked up..On Saturday (3/4/20) the carrier removed the plastic sleeves but did not pick up the payment. I am 80 years old and due to the Coronavirus I'm to be extra careful but yet I was forced to go to the post office to mail it myself so my payment is not late.

I’ve never had such a terrible experience with a postal office . I’ve been there 3 times . The first I tracked my package them and was basically told that it’s there somewhere they just have to look for it so there’s that. Literally said “ so there’s that “. The third trip I gave all my info and requested a refund letter to send to get my money back and it’s been a month they still haven’t sent me my letter through email. I was told the supervisor would email it because I had asked for it right then and there and she said “ well I’d have to get my supervisor so he will just email it.” So you basically steel people’s things and screw them over. They get away with it because no one is held accountable for anything in this day . Given the nature of all visits to this place I recommend not living within this postals area. If you get your mail you are very lucky . I’ve had issues for years now

I live in 78748 zip code @ The Landing @ Double Creek, 1130 Farrah Lane. I want to file a complaint regarding the Mail Carrier for that section. I have spoken to many residents who just like me only recieve their mail a couple times a week. It has come to our attention the the Mail person only loads a section @ a time & not all the slots. We can tell because the mail is only in one section at a time. I have gotten my car registration late & my relicensing notices to reregister late + utility bills. This is unexceptable. I would like this investigated Please. Thank you.

Why do these people not answer the phone. I am trying to get a passport done and it says I need an appointment set before arriving to the post office for a passport. The worst government office I have ever dealt with.

I made an appointment to come in and get my passport and take a picture for it 3 weeks ago. I get there for my appointment and they inform me that their camera is down and since I didn't bring a picture I couldn't get my passport made. Here's the kicker. I was NOT notified that their camera was down before the appointment. Even though, when I made the appointment, they told me I could do my picture there. They then Proceeded to tell me that I could make another appointment but they're next available WAS NEXT MONTH. Or! I could spend 60 more dollars to have it expedited. They did not offer me any other assistance. There was no apology.

This post office is terrible. They never answer their phones. I tried to get my passport renewed during the hours they claim to process passport requests, but the desk was closed. I was told they only do this by appointment now and I'd need to call to schedule an appointment (but again- they don't answer the phones so this impossible), but that they were booked up for the next month. So if they're getting so many requests for passports they're booked up for a month, why was no one there during the hours they're supposed to be accepting applications?

They seem to respond to internet or 1 800 number complaints (if you can get through that phone tree to a live person to make one that is), but they don't answer thier phone, same as many other Post Offices. Have had interactions with many rude people there. It all seems to be the higher ups that don't know what customer service is. My carrier from there and a few others I've interacted with in the back while dropping business mail have all been great. My latest experience there has left me doubting how much they really want business customers. My husband was "greeted" by an employee stationed at the back loading dock where he was dropping several crates of packages. He already had them in hand and was almost to the drop area when he was told he would have to take them through the front of the post office and drop them inside since it was after 5. In fairness, they do have a sign that says to do this but they've never enforced it and have even consented to us leaving them after 5 on multiple occassions. The guy told him that he has been written up because he of the packages dropped after 5 left in the loading dock area and a number of other things that are not a customer's concern. Really I don't see what difference it makes whether they sit in the loading area or behind the front counter so why make me go into the Post Office to drop crates of mail? This is very incinvenient to volume customers. I almost always have 2 to 4 full crates and large packages in addition to a toddler and 10 year old in tow. Making 2 or more trips into the lobby dragging my kids along and dealing with buckets of mail when I have to drop off is not what I want to deal with. Granted, yes, I should drop before 5 but it isn't always possible. I just don't understand the bad attitude about it and why they make it hard on their customers.

Wow. You are correct. They don't answer their phone. Been calling for a while. Finally the rings discontinue and when I call back, busy tone. Then a few minutes later endless ringing again. I suspect that they have been ordered not answer phone calls. Which, I admit, are pretty annoying when you're the one who's actually in person there. Perhaps post offices are so undermanned, many have been closed. Anyway, this really is annoying and troublesome. Take down your phone number if you no plan or contingency to actually use it.
