The staff at this office are extremely rude and disrespectful. They are not open when it is convenient for anyone in town that may have to work elsewhere.
The post man, (at the front) has been snarky and nasty multiple times in the 2 years I have used the P.O Box.
Please close this post office and transfer operations to Burnet. I live in Oatmeal, which post office was closed long ago and operations transferred to Bertram. The Bertram post office closes for lunch every day, the primary hours when the public visits to use lobby services. They now close on Saturday, the primary day the public visits to pick up packages that these people are unable to deliver during the week. I use UPS or Fedex whenever possible, because they work 24 hours per day and bring stuff to my house. If the package which Bertram attempted to deliver yesterday were in Burnet, I would be able to pick it up today. Or maybe Burnet would have delivered it to my house yesterday.
We have recently moved back to our place in Bertram after living elsewhere for a few years...we live on County Road 258, a few years ago, our mail generally came by 2 pm in the afternoon, now our mail arrives after 5pm and sometimes as late as 7:30 pm...why is the mail delivery so slow now? Are more mail carriers needed due to increased population in the area? Thanks
Have always has good service at this facility. The man up front has always been kind & very helpful. Feel fortunate to have a post office in our small town.
