I usually don’t write reviews but, Westbury post office in Houston,Texas sucks!! Unprofessional. Some workers us profanity in front of customers. No urgency to keep the long lines moving. Bad attitudes. I have to restrain myself from going off on these people. This post office is a minute from my house so I don’t want drive 15 mins. somewhere else and it’s probably no better. I hate going when I need services other than just dropping mail in the drop box. I feel nothing will be done but my pressure has dropped back to normal once I left there.
If this was a company - USPS would be out of business. No one answers the phone! Is there no pride in work over there? How about a system that anwers the phone and directs you to the right department like every other entity in the world does. I am trying to call in and report a serious mail issue to the manager - if anybody cares.
why no post office out side box??
i wrote congress Lizza, senators cruz and chorin eben called and city rep for area . no one answered me except secetary for city rep. but she sais it was a govermment probllem but she to would try. i guess no one cares.
Terrible service. I scheduled an appointment to do my son's passport for 9am. I Arrived a few minutes before the time but I was told I had to wait because the people that were in line to send their mail or buy stamps had the priority. That's right, people that arrived before the Post office opens with the intention to be in line had priority over a scheduled appointment for a passport for a 1 month old baby. So we waited... The problem is that after those people were gone, more people kept coming in. It seems that anyone that comes in at any time to stay in line has a priority over appointments for babies. This is very disrespectful. Employees just kept saying that we needed to talk to the manager, who was called but just didn't show up... we had the first appointment of the day for 9am but it took one hour for someone to just show up to see us, but that only happened after all the people in line complained a lot.
