the mail isn't delivered on some weekdays and the local post office must take their phone off hook when they come to work. and hang it up on their way home. they have never answered the phone.

Incompetent is the only word good enough for the Cameron County USPS, including South Padre Island and Port Isabel mail service. When a government document (1099R) is shown on the online mail to be delivered along with three other advertisement letters of no consequence and only the junk mail is in our box, it's very strange that the gov. doc. is the only one not delivered........Today is the last day to file taxes and my wife can not file due to her not receiving her documents......now she must request for an extension and ask again for the third time for her 1099R plus late fees from the IRS on the extension......plus my 1099R copies, mailed 4/4/22 have yet to even make it to the Informed Delivery notices. South Padre Island, Port Isabel and Laguna Vista deserve better,

Worst Post office that I have encountered in my life. I am 73 years old, and have been over much of the world, lived in Texas, Colorado, Michigan, New Mexico, Alabama, Vietnam, Canada. The Post master in Port Isabel is an ass.
