Postal Locations

Webb site says closed at 3:00 on Saturday. On 03.08,25 at 2:05 pm I arrived to pick an important certified mail. The rude clerk said the PO was closed. I explained the site said close at 3:00. She pointed at some sign and said closed. I pleaded with her explaining I have a very important document to pick up. She rudely asked me to leave and I did. She displayed 0 empathy and understanding

Twice in 2 weeks my mail was not picked up. I am the “work from home office” and my mail needs to be post marked, garnishments need to be paid, child support needs to be paid, irs needs to be paid. When i have no incoming mail, my house gets skipped for pick up. Please correct this for the Thalia neighborhood.

Very disappointed in this office. Had an appointment for noon. Office was closed. Went into post office and was told by mail clerk that passport office clerk was on break and would be back in half hour. He didn’t open until 12:18. Now there are several people waiting and there is only 1 clerk. What is the point of making an appointment if you can’t take the customers at that time.

I have a very aggressive mail carrier who has harassed me several times by ringing and knocking on my door to complain about how the cars are parked on the street and lecturing me about safety. I'm literally afraid to open my door each time she 's on my front porch...

I live in the Scarborough Square neighborhood. I’m not sure what has been going on with the mail but it seems to skip a few days. What it does arrive it’s between the hours of 5:30-7:30. What are the mail delivery hours? I have been sent things overnight and have not received them until the next week sometimes. Is there a option to pick up my own mail from the post office?

received a notice our garbage can had to be moved. it was not blocking the access to mailbox and was were we always have it/ per our HOA. we were told to give minimum of 30 ft for access - we are on a cul-d-sac and don't have that space - I had sw regular female carrier before who had no issue - this new one is nasty and deliberately left mailbox open to the weather - tried to sw superv - told not available. this carriers behavior was not appropriate. This is not the first time we've had issues with some other employee. we cant move mailbox and cans can only go within property lines - we sit on a triangle shaped lot so space is limited and we cant block our driveway - cars come and go at different hours to house. there was no need to leave the box open to the storm or push cans off property to cause neighbor issues.

I guess mail delivery has been suspended, even though the web site says the only disruption in Virginia is one station near Richmond. No info available and the 800 number is useless. 23462

Last weeks storm had the last mail delivery to my neighborhood, Middle Oaks Plantation, on Wednesday. It is coming up on a week later and still no mail service. When can we expect to see any mail?

Mail deliveries are late lately (5 or 530 pm) My concern is WHY was my Pay stub check statement was only half and open. (half's gone) This is so upsetting knowing the trend of stolen identity. Please explain.

I mailed a letter on August 18th fro upstate NY toVIRGINIA BEACH . It still hasn't arrived in VB or returned to me. I went to my local post office in Rome , NY and they tried unsuccessfully to get through to the VB office on Viking Dr. They gave me a number to call, that person told me I had to file a complaint online now since a person doesn't take complaints anymore. I did that and was given an ID number. I tried to find out the status but unable to. I brought my ID NUMBER TO MY LOCAL POST OFFICE TO SEE IF THEY COULD TRACK IT AND THEY said it wasn't the right type of number! So I've been on the phone to the Virginia Beach post office and the phone has been ribging and ringing. I can tell by other posts that the post office is a big rip off! It's been over 2 weeks now! Where the hell is my letter??? Why can't I get a real person o talk to?? Ever since. ThisxstRted, I have mailed every package thru UPS. there are certain thing I have no choice but to mail. I hold my breath! Another opportunity to contact my congressman....via emai!

Where should I start? Do you have an actual monkey training employees? I mean really how hard is it to insert mail in a box? I've been inside the office , and there is nothing but rotten scumbags working there. Pathetic excuse for working welfare. The hiring requirements must be the lowest standards of any industry. I sincerely hope one of you idiots goes postal and shoots the poor excuse for a pathetic human being that has my route. I will avoid USPS like Ebola. I don't expect anything to change. I'm really convinced you people are that pathetic from the top down.

What a down right miserable experience. I did not get regular delivery yesterday. I called today, no one answers the local number. The 800 number is a joke, because you will go to permanent jerk around mode.
The US GOV'T gives us this substandard service while losing $6-8 billion per year. All the while whining for more and more money. Come on fellow Americans...tell your Congressman we want the private sector to deliver our mail. COMPETITION IS THE ONLY THING THAT WILL KEEP PRICES DOWN AND SERVICE UP! LET THE CREAM RISE TO THE TOP!

why do the postal clerks tell you, with great glee, that your carefully packed and sealed flat rate box which you are presenting for mailing could have been shipped for $8.00 cheaper in a regular box..??? they seem to be taking great delight in letting you know you have made a costly mistake by using that flat rate box. i am specifically referring to the African American woman clerk with the loud voice at the 550 First Colonial Rd location, who talks over the customer and acts like she knows it all. I dread going into the post office because of her.

Very rude customer service over the phone bc it was close to closing time. Also the wrong mail from two different houses and completely different street was delivered to my house. Just kind of concerned bc all my mail from the past two days is somewhere else.
