I am so thankful for the Post Service and all the postal workers who are continuing to deliver mail especially personal letters and increased volume of packages because of sheltering in place. Most days I leave a very clean water bottle and treat for my carrier! It reminds me of how my granny would leave a glass of ice water on her porch everday with a little saucer to keep insects out. It is an easy habit to get into and I hope more people think about how hard our USPS Works and how important to our lives!
Why do you even list a phone number? I've called 5 times and let it ring until it cut off. I was a letter carrier here in Bradenton, Florida for 32 years, and retired for 11 years. Pathetic how the usps has gone down in helping customer. And it was lame when I was there. No wonder you have to raise the price of stamps every 3 months to stay afloat.
Again - No mail delivery on June 18th. My complaints started 8 months ago about horrible service - late deliveries, NO delivery, missing mail. Service has not improved, no proper responses, no follow up. Last conversation with Seattle supervisor was "go rent a P.O. Box". You should be embarrassed by your poor performance!

The business in question was the UPS Store on High School Road, which was open until 5 PM that day. I guess it's a LONG drive from the post office to the UPS Store.
Second time in a month that a package was not delivered, although I have a release signed at the PO. This has been for over 15 years. No notice left. I found out about this from the tracking number. There was someone home all day. The garage was open until about 5:00PM.
Now 10:30 AM The Bainbridge PO will not answer their phone which I have left ringing for over 10 minutes.
This the worst post office I have ever used in over seventy years of life. The problem is not with the personnel, but the fact that this post office is part of the Seattle system. It does not belong to Bainbridge Island , the community it serves. As a result, they must hire first from Seattle and it it is a three hour, twenty dollar round trip by Ferry. The result is the post office is under staffed and no qualified people want to work here. Fix this problem and we will have a decent Post Office. Make us an independent Post office.
Manchester,2.9 miles away? By air or boat? South Colby 4.1 miles away? Fly or row? How about Poulsbo,11 miles or Silverdale 16 miles. At least you can drive to them.
The people on this post office are pathetic. They got my package on Tuesday, did not get delivered on Wednesday, I called and offered to pick it up. It is too late it is in the truck. Then the same on Thursday, Friday and Saturday their dumb excuse....there is a new person on training.
All a FedEx-USPS scam
Really?
