I live in an apartment building and I have been calling for days to request access to a package box that will not open with the key left inside my mail box. There is no way to open the box (this is the second time this has happened) because the mail carrier won't unlock the box properly to allow the resident key to work. Someone answered my call at one point and hung up without saying hello. Why have a phone if no one answers it?

All of the mailboxes were left open at the apartment complex I manage in Sand Point Seattle. I tried to call the Wedgewood Post Office and it just rings and rings and no option to leave a message.

I sent an email to USPS site, specifically noted with this post office address where I dropped off a package on 19 January 2022 at 3:53 pm. Package is addressed to a recipient in Carrollton, VA. Since I drop off, there was no movement on the tracking. A lady left a voice message on 21 January 2022 at 7:37 am, but her message does not make sense at all since the email I sent is specified with detail. I called to the number the lady gave but no answer. I also called to this actual post office, no answer. Now that I found so many reviews, I would like to understand how's their customer service skills. I never had any issues to all previous package to my online selling.

A correctly addressed envelope sent to an address in the 98115 zip code was returned to us twice.I am writing this because, after multiple attempts, I was unable to contact the Wedgwood post office by phone or other means. We used the postal machine in the Kirkland post office to buy postage, attached the postage, and sent an envelope to a friend in the 98115 zip code. It was returned to us. I took the envelope back to the Kirkland post office. I showed them that the address was correct. The address can be found in Google Maps and it also shows a photo of the house that matches the house of the addressee. I paid for more postage at the service desk, which was attached to the envelope, and the envelope was sent. A few days later, envelope was returned to us with a label attached: R-T-S 98115-RFS-1N *95 10/21/21 RETURN TO SENDER NO SUCH NUMBER UNABLE TO FORWARD RETURN TO SENDER I have been unable to contact the Wedgwood post office to resolve this. I would appreciate someone from the USPS contacting me regarding this issue.

Wedgwood Post Office is a nightmare to deal with. We scheduled forwarding of ALL MAIL before leaving to "snowbird" in Arizona and mail continued to be delivered to our house almost every day. A few items coming from outside the Seattle area were forwarded, but the majority of the mail continued to be delivered to our empty house. I called Wedgwood twice and each time was assured that things were "taken care of." NOT! Then we decided to come home for the holidays and switched our mail to being "held at the post office." Surprise! It continued to be delivered to our house until I called the post office and complained. Now we're home and can't pick up our held mail without standing in a two-hour line. REALLY? What happened to "customer service"?

Cant believe the terrible service given by this post office. I live in a building that has added apartments and replaced the mailboxes that were there with new ones. The apartment number no longer correspond to the mailbox number as it is a secured building. Since 5th of January 2018 when all the residents had to exchange keys NO mail has been delivered. The reason told is because of sorting issues as the boxes are out of order. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!! I need my mail delivered to my residence. I cannot be expected to go to the post office everyday, wait in a very long line to see/ receive any mail that day. Important documents have been seriously delayed and there is mail that is still missing. Every time I speak with someone at the post office I'm told sorry but it's confusing and no mail will be delivered until it's fixed. Not sure what fixed means as when I speak with my property management they keep telling me that all postal regulations are met and that NO one is calling back to figure out how to proceed. So to recap, No mail is being delivered because of the change, the change with stay and we the residents are caught in the middle. It is the responsibility of the post office to deliver mail. All boxes are labeled with name and apartment number. So it seems to me that someone does not want to do there job. I am in the process of figuring out who I need to contact to file a formal complaint with regards to this situation. There is time sensitive documents that need to be delivered ON TIME. Wedgwood Post Office is the worst I have had to deal with. I want my mail delivered to my residence ASAP. The post office should be ashamed at this as it effects 52 different residents. 52!!

Your phone tree is ridiculously long and complicated for anyone whose question doesn't fit the template. Worse than useless, so time-consuming, for my query.
