Terrible experience - rude employees act like their days are ruined when you walk through the door. I felt as though I was burdening them. Machine broke while I was there (not a big deal, it happens), but the way it was handled was unreal. Just stood there and looked at all of us while the other employee sat in the back on the telephone. He said, "My printer is broke and she ain't comin' to fix it, 'cause she's on the phone." So the six of us in line just stood there (I was actually at the counter), until the other employee wheeled herself in her computer chair within our view and said she "didn't know what to tell him." She then wheeled herself back into the back of the office and eventually came back out to help customers on a different machine. As for me, she told me "you're going to be here for awhile and I don't know what else to tell ya' about that." Keep in mind, I had not said one word the entire time...I wasn't rude in any, way, shape, or form - until she said that to me and then I became a little snippy and made a confrontational comment about the situation. In the end, he handed me back my package I was trying to mail- meaning the entire time I stood there while he was on the phone with the help desk, I could have been over with her on the other machine getting my envelope mailed properly. So, I went over to her, got it mailed, and told her thanks. She was angry with me and rude still... I will never be back. The individual in HR who hires these employees needs to be a little more careful. I'd rather fight traffic and horrible parking options at the downtown post office than ever step foot inside this post office again.
